Location: Manvel, TX

Pay Rate: $75K-85K annually

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Our client is a industry leader in the petrochemical, pipeline, and construction industries. They are seeking a SENIOR BUYER to join their team in Manvel, TX

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee procurement activities to source materials, equipment, and supplies, ensuring all items meet quality, cost, and delivery standards.
• Manage the end-to-end purchase order process from requisition to delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms and pricing.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with production and inventory control teams to maintain material availability.
• Analyze market trends and industry pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance procurement efficiency.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement activities, including supplier performance, on-time delivery, and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years in procurement or purchasing management, ideally within manufacturing or industrial sectors.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships and drive cost savings.
• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with materials used in the oil & gas industry, structural steel fabrication, and manufacturing processes is a plus.
