Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team for a locum tenens assignment in Oregon. As a locum tenens physician, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care to patients in a hospital setting
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
- Conduct physical exams and order diagnostic tests as needed
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in the medical record
Requirements:
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Current DEA registration
- Ability to work a 72-hour shift
- ATLS, PALS, and ACLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
