SR DIRECTOR OF FOOD AND NUTRITION - CHARLOTTE, NC Salary: $105K – $120K plus up to $35K bonus potential, relocation assistance. Morrison Healthcare, a leading national food and nutrition services provider serving over 600 hospitals and healthcare systems, is seeking an experienced Senior Director to oversee day‑to‑day dining services operations. The position is located in Charlotte, NC, and requires the candidate to reside locally. Job Summary The Senior Director will manage a team of foodservice professionals, maintain client relationships, drive profitability, and lead talent development within the dining services department. Key Responsibilities Operate the department within the approved budget while delivering maximum value to clients. Ensure the food offered to clients meets superior quality standards. Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs. Maintain excellent relationships with clients and other departments. Promote professional growth and development of the entire team. Foster strong inter‑departmental relations and integrate the dining service department with the facility’s plan of operations. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of five years of proven leadership expertise in foodservice operations. Two to four years of direct foodservice operational management experience, including inventory and purchasing knowledge. Strong knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation. Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract‑managed service experience is desirable. ServSafe® certification is a plus.
