Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our innovative team in Irving, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in Android application development and a strong background in the banking and financial services industry. This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a flexible blend of remote and on-site work.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications for the banking sector.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks in existing applications.
  • Work closely with product managers and UX/UI designers to create user-friendly applications.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to Android development.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the team.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Android application development.
  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Good understanding of the banking and financial services domain.
  • Familiarity with mobile development frameworks and design patterns.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of security protocols and best practices in mobile banking applications.
  • Experience with hybrid app development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
