Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Fabrication Supervisor to lead our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and promote a safe and efficient work environment while utilizing their expertise in welding and CNC processes.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the sheet metal fabrication team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Train and mentor staff in welding techniques and CNC operations.
  • Conduct quality control inspections to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Maintain inventory of materials and supplies needed for fabrication activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to improve fabrication processes.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication and welding.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machinery.
  • Knowledge of quality control practices in fabrication.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Experience with forklift operation is a plus.
