Senior Ecommerce Marketing Analyst
The eCommerce Marketing Analyst will be responsible for cross-channel analysis of online and retail media program metrics. The candidate should be able to evaluate ROI, garner insights, and make recommendations based off the data to the channel marketing team and leadership team. This position provides a general base for career growth with learning a solid foundation of multiple channels go to market strategies
The candidate should possess:
- Deep understanding of ecommerce along with experience of evaluating digital media campaign performance, especially in the retail media space
- Proficiency in excel and able to have a good understanding of product, promotions, and business direction to provide valuable insights to leadership
- Retail or e-retail experience
Main Responsibilities
- Analyze key performance indicators to identify opportunities to improve the online experience and drive conversion
- Provide accurate reporting and insights across the digital channel related to content, product information, assortment and competitive gaps/opportunities
- Study and analyze retail media metrics to report and evaluate on performance
- Stay up to date on current promotions, go to market plans, and products to be able to read the retail media data and make recommendations based on understanding the total business
- Develop a best practice checklists and guidelines for marketing activities across all media channels to ensure highly efficient campaigns
- Work closely with content teams to both optimize premium content as well as prioritize execution to maximize returns
- Proactively monitor and track campaign performance for optimizing performance
- Provide professional reports to leadership based off evaluating the media and online data
- Analyze competitive data to make sure we stay ahead of trends, pacing, and category leadership
- Develop robust and collaborative working relationships with stakeholders, including Sales, Go-To-Market, Marketing Managers, and Analytics teams
- Plans, executes, and measures promotion experiments and conversion tests
Skills/Qualifications:
- Prior work experience with a retailer or e-retailer with retail media
- Prior experience in consumer electronics or durable goods, digital marketing and/or eCommerce environment
- Extremely entrepreneurial, passionate about the consumer experience, and savvy about managing business goals.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills & ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated and resourceful with a creative mindset to develop attractive promotional ideas plus the ability to execute them.
- Knowledge of online marketing tactics (SEO, SEM, Email, etc.)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and deadlines; and must be able to manage multiple projects/priorities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Minimum 5-10 years related experience in digital marketing or eCommerce
