Role: Chief of Staff

As Chief of Staff, you’ll partner closely with the leadership team to drive strategy, execution, and team growth. This is a high-impact role where you’ll align teams, optimize operations, and tackle critical priorities to ensure Prime Intellect runs at peak performance. You’ll be at the center of hiring, operational excellence, and strategic execution, empowering the company to scale with clarity and purpose.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Execution

  1. Collaborate with the CEO and CTO to define and execute the company’s strategic vision.
  2. Ensure cross-functional alignment and accountability on high-priority goals.
  3. Track and support the execution of key initiatives, keeping leadership focused on impact.

Team Building and Support

  1. Lead hiring efforts to build a high-performing team across operations, legal, and business development.
  2. Mentor and support teams to foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture.
  3. Identify resourcing gaps and ensure teams have the tools and support they need to succeed.

Operational Excellence

  1. Design and optimize workflows to enhance productivity and scalability.
  2. Implement systems for continuous improvement and streamline execution across teams.
  3. Develop and track operational metrics to measure performance and identify improvements.

Legal and Compliance

  1. Review, negotiate, and finalize contracts with partners and service providers.
  2. Work with external counsel to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and security requirements.
  3. Monitor emerging regulations and risks in decentralized AI, proactively adjusting policies.

Stakeholder Engagement

  1. Build strong relationships with investors, partners, customers, and collaborators.
  2. Serve as a primary point of contact for external inquiries and partnerships.

Financial Management

  1. Collaborate with the fractional CFO on budgeting and resource allocation.
  2. Contribute to fundraising strategies and investor relations to support company growth.

Risk Management

  1. Identify and mitigate operational, technical, and regulatory risks.
  2. Implement robust protocols to safeguard data, intellectual property, and system integrity.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience as Chief of Staff, operations leader, or similar role in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
  2. Strong track record of aligning teams to execute ambitious goals at scale.
  3. Experience with hiring, team development, and fostering high-performing teams.
  4. Expertise in operational design, legal compliance, and contract negotiation.
  5. Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
  6. Business acumen with experience in financial management and fundraising.
  7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, including executive-level reporting.
