- Establishing, embedding and promoting reusable architectural designs and patterns based on standards and best practices for technology infrastructure
- Identifying and remediating complex infrastructure issues, including cross-functional collaboration with technical and non-technical teams as required
- Supporting, designing and implementing processes and controls that assure maximum uptime and quick service to stakeholders for both physical and cloud-based workloads
- Establishing and cultivating relationships with stakeholders, being a trusted advisor and technical authority within the firm’s engineering community and championing best practices

What are we looking for?

- Experience of infrastructure within a DevOps environment, enabling product development and platform engineering teams to increasingly automate and self-serve secure, reliable, and scalable resources
- Experience of physical infrastructure technologies, including IP based networks, WAN technologies, virtualisation, DHCP/DNS and SAN/NAS storage and experience with Linux OS’s and Bash scripting
- PowerShell and automation skills along with IaC skills preferably on Terraform
- Palo Alto and Meraki experience
- The ability to apply strategy, using patterns, standards, policies, roadmaps and vision statements, challenging and providing guidance where appropriate and the experience to design systems characterised by level of risk, impact and business or technical complexity, working across multiple services or a single large or complex service
