NP Inpatient Oncology, Hematologic Malignancies Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), located in Boston, MA currently has an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our ground breaking Inpatient Oncology team, caring for patients with hematologic malignancies.Here, an emphasis is placed on teamwork and sustainable work-life balance. You will benefit from a team of APPs collaborating every single day, and a dedication to minimizing burnout with full-time APPs working 3 days per week, self-scheduling managed by the team, strictly voluntary overtime, and equitable sharing of off-shifts which is also supported by a nocturnist program. Care for patients with hematologic malignancies, and those undergoing cellular therapy and bone marrow transplants.The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of patients on a 32-bed unit in collaboration with world-class RNs and oncologists. Responsibilities include participating in daily inter-disciplinary rounds, collaboratively develop and implement care plans, coordinating tests and consultations, communicating with referring clinicians and consults, performing patient education, and preparing patients for discharge.Our practice environment reflects the values of our hospital, combining knowledge, skill and compassion to create a workforce that is caring, innovative, scientific and empowering. Day/Night Rotation. Day hours: 6:30am-7:30pm, Night Hours: 6:30pm-7:30am.
