Hiring will be based on the best fit for the program and coaching experience. We are looking to hire an experienced coach that can bring in new ideas but also adapt to our established culture. Off-season duties would start immediately upon hiring.The High School Head Cheer Coach is responsible for supporting the team throughout the season.Responsibilities:Teamwork and team building or managementUnderstanding nutrition, anatomy and physiologyOrganization and administrationCommunication and listeningInterpersonal relationshipsMentoring and motivatingPlanning and project managementBeing assertive and professionalStress managementPerformance Expectations:Works cooperatively with the coaching staff and team membersActs in accordance with directives from the Administrator (or designee)Contributes to a positive climate and culture by exhibiting high professional standardsQualifications:At least 3 years of high school varsity or college coaching experienceAbility to be an exemplary role model on and off the fieldAbility to lead a large group of athletesAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingBasic knowledge of football and implementation of skills, drillsAvailability to commit to all in-season and off-season dutiesCompensation and Benefits:Stipend opportunities - starting at $500 per seasonWe offer the following benefits for full-time positions, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, and 10 paid holidays annually.
