Lateral Attorney

Position: Lateral Attorney - Business, Estate Planning, and/or Real Estate

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Description: Martin Pringle is seeking a talented and experienced attorney to join our team in the business, estate planning and/or real estate practice areas. The ideal candidate will have at least 5-7 years of experience, some portable business and the desire to grow that book of business. We would also be open to the right candidate with a hybrid transactional/commercial litigation practice in which they provide full service to business clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality legal counsel and representation in business law, estate planning, and/or real estate matters.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships through excellent communication and service.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to business owners and managers including internal referrals of employment and commercial litigation matters.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand and manage a robust book of business.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Active Kansas and Missouri bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business law, estate planning, and/or real estate.
• Demonstrated success in client development and business growth.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
