Position Overview:

As a Vice President, you will be a critical member of our leadership team, responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing key client relationships. This role is designed for a seasoned seller/doer who excels in both business development and the execution of high-value consulting engagements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of generating significant revenue, cultivating long-term client relationships, and delivering exceptional consulting services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Revenue Generation: Lead the charge in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities across target markets, including major law firms, corporations, accounting firms, and government entities.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring the delivery of high-impact consulting services that meet their needs.
  3. Market Expansion: Drive the firm's market presence by identifying emerging trends and opportunities in economic, financial, and strategic consulting. Develop strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing client portfolios.
  4. Engagement Leadership: Lead and manage consulting engagements, from proposal development to project delivery, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  5. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including research, analysis, and delivery teams, to design and implement solutions that address complex client challenges.
  6. Thought Leadership: Represent the firm at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities to enhance the firm's reputation and visibility in the market. Contribute to the development of thought leadership content.
  7. Revenue Targets: Achieve and exceed revenue targets set by the firm by effectively managing sales pipelines, forecasting revenue, and executing strategies to close deals.
  8. Client Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by consistently delivering value-added services, addressing client concerns, and fostering a collaborative partnership.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in a revenue-generating role within the consulting industry, with a focus on economic, financial, or strategic consulting. Proven track record of securing and managing high-value client relationships.
  2. Education: Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  3. Skills:
    • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand complex client needs and provide tailored consulting solutions.
    • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence senior decision-makers.
    • Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously while maintaining a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
    • Strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  4. Leadership: Experience in leading teams, managing projects, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  5. Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
