We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at ECHN. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate patients based on departmental standards and conduct thorough assessments to establish individualized treatment plans.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve or restore function, and provide education to patients and families on home exercise programs and functional activities.
- Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to attain established goals, and document patient progress in accordance with insurance guidelines and departmental policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise affiliated students and participate in continuing education courses to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment techniques and best practices.
- Participate in departmental in-services and community education programs to enhance professional development and contribute to the growth of the organization.
- Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a Master's degree.
- Current licensure in Connecticut and eligibility for certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Valid driver's license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, and basic computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
