Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. This role supports the accounting team in ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions and reports. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, experience in financial statement analysis, and excellent collaboration skills. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with staff accountants in the monthly general ledger close, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, analysis of financial statements, and variance reviews.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze account reconciliations monthly or quarterly, ensuring all documentation is compliant with reporting standards.
  • Support consolidated financial reporting by reviewing foreign subsidiaries.
  • Conduct monthly analysis of current results to support internal and external reporting, and assist in budgeting and account analysis.
  • Engage with management, departmental leaders, external auditors, and consultants to support financial goals and ensure compliance.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting, reconciliation, or finance.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of accounting principles (FASB/GAAP), SOX compliance, and expert-level proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Documentation: Skilled in preparing detailed work papers and memos for a variety of technical accounting topics.
  • Additional Skills: Team-building, leadership, and project management. Commitment to high standards of quality and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or MBA with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
  • Background in public accounting or experience with financial reporting in a manufacturing environment.
