.NET Azure Architect

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customers to understand workload requirements, performance expectations, and scalability needs.
  • Design compute architectures that optimize resource utilization, minimize latency, and enhance overall system performance.
  • Design for high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Optimize parallel processing, GPU utilization, and distributed computing.
  • Ensure efficient data movement and synchronization.
  • Design transactional compute patterns with compensation patterns and explore serverless computing options (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, etc.) for event-driven workloads.
  • Design event-driven workflows that respond dynamically to triggers.
  • Leverage Azure Event Grid and Azure Event Hubs.
  • Integrate security standard processes into compute designs.
  • Implement access controls, encryption, and network segmentation.
  • Work closely with development teams, bridging the gap between design and implementation.
  • Interact with other Enterprise Architecture and Enterprise Platform teams to ensure that solutions are built in alignment with the defined enterprise standards.
  • Manage daily technical challenges and connect with management if there are any risks or issues.

Qualifications

  • About 12+ years of experience in architecting/designing compute-intensive solutions with Azure.
  • Preferable certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
  • Proven track record of developing Azure architecture for large-scale, production-grade applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of .Net frameworks & Azure compute services (VMs, Azure Web-Apps, App Services, Logic Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Batch, etc.).
  • Good to have frontend skills like Angular 2-18 & React JS.

The annual salary for this position is between $102,600 to $162,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
