We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Senior Associate to join the team in our Baltimore office.

CohnReznick is a hybrid firm most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. YOUR TEAM.

This position will support our Manufacturing & Distribution and Cannabis Group. M&D and Cannabis fall under our Commercial Services practice. With integrated teams focused on the consumer, hospitality, and manufacturing and distribution industries, we help companies leverage process innovation, manage growth capital, and support your brand strategy. The Cannabis industry offers significant growth opportunities to companies and investors committed to navigating a shifting business environment and to developing a sound strategy, efficient operations, and rigorous compliance processes. You will work on a team with other Associates, Senior Associates, Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners. This team has a passion for what they do and a focus on consistently delivering value to our clients.

YOUR ROLE. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
  • Develop detailed engagement work plans
  • Manage a team of staff associates including interns
  • Gain the respect and confidence of the CRZ team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise direction and leadership

YOUR EXPERIENCE. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of work experience in another public accounting firm
  • Commercial Services experience is preferred
  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Accounting required
  • CPA licensure achieved or eligibility to sit for the exam
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of audit software such as CaseWare or ProSystem FX
  • Exceptional organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills

In Maryland, the salary range for a Senior Assurance Associate is $80,000.00 to $120,000.00. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies. Salary is one component of the CohnReznick total rewards package, which includes a discretionary performance bonus, generous paid time off, expanded and inclusive parental benefits, and access to best-in-class learning and development platforms, to name a few.
