Setting: Pediatric Ophthalmology Practice
Location: San Antonio, TX
Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8A-5P, Friday, 8A-12:30
Pay: Starting at $16/hr for non-certified and $18.50 for COA certified plus full benefits package
The Ophthalmic Technicians duties to include but may not be limited to:
-Taking history and working up patients for doctors
-Check vision acuity
-Refraction
-Handle pharmacy calls
-Scribe for doctors
-Operating equipment
-Help keep the office stocked, organized and clean
REQUIREMENTS:
-At least 1 year of experience in ophthalmic terminology, testing, scribing and equipment
-Candidates must have strong communication/organizational skills, be punctual, have a positive attitude, a willing to learn, adaptable, friendly, able to work with children and have a genuine passion for patient care
