The Senior Copywriter will write best-in-class creative copy for a variety of projects including but not limited to: marketing emails, product descriptions, and web/mobile copy. Responsibilities include developing communication plans and promoting the apparel brand image through various channels.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Write and take ownership of product descriptions, marketing emails, SMS copy, and all copy needed for the website including home page, landing pages and collection descriptions
  • Bring email concepts to life through short, attention-grabbing subject lines, headlines, and body copy
  • Be able to translate creative direction from the creative team and marketing objectives from the ecommerce team into succinct copy that drives sales
  • Work cross functionally with creative and ecommerce team while closely monitoring the marketing calendar to ensure copy deadlines are met
  • Develop and maintain the brand voice, copy hierarchy and copy up to date and consistent across all channels
  • Manages agency relationship with SEO program.
  • Assures all SEO content aligns with brand voice


Requirements

  • 3-5 years proven work experience in Copywriting
  • Fashion/Apparel/Retail experience required
  • Excellent writing skills & organization
  • Flawless attention to detail and organization skills
  • Solid command of English grammar, spelling, syntax, and vocabulary
  • Knowledge and experience working with scheduling platforms- Shopify, SEO, keyword search and Google Analytics
  • BS degree in Marketing, Journalism or other relevant field
