Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Pay Rate: $23/hr (W2)

Duration: 6 months temp-to-hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM (Possible shift change to Sunday-Thursday after 6 weeks)

Location: Onsite at 970 Riverside Parkway Suite 20, West Sacramento, CA 95605

Overtime: Required; schedule may change based on business needs


Job Summary:

As a Pharmacy Technician, you will refill and replenish prescription requests in an automated setting, under the supervision of a pharmacist, in a fast-paced production environment. Your role will focus on maintaining workflow to meet daily production goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Fill bottles with prescribed medications.
  • Utilize SI Baker equipment for order filling.
  • Conduct inventory counts and replenish low-stock.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
  • Process incoming supplies and assist with shipping orders.
  • Follow company policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in science preferred.
  • A valid Pharmacy Technician license is required.
  • Complete state and national technical training as necessary..
  • HIPAA Certification is required.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and good computer skills; warehouse experience is a plus.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift/carry 20-25 pounds
  • Stand/walk for the majority of the shift (8+ hours)
  • Requires bending, twisting, and reaching
