Your expertise in the healthcare sector will enable you to evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely availability of high-quality products. You will play a key role in optimizing the purchasing processes, maintaining budgetary compliance, and supporting the overall mission of excellence in patient care.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors in the healthcare industry to ensure the best value and quality of products.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and assess demand to maintain adequate stock of medical supplies and equipment, minimizing waste and shortages.
  • Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, new products, and technological advancements in the healthcare sector to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with clinical staff and department heads to understand their needs and ensure the procurement of appropriate supplies and equipment.
  • Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with healthcare regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
  • Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance, and budget adherence for management review.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, with a focus on the healthcare industry.

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on market trends and supplier performance.
