The ideal candidate will have a mix of public and private accounting experience, preferably with a CPA designation. Experience with open-ended funds, fair value GAAP reporting, and REITs is essential. Knowledge of upcoming SEC compliance demands for REITs and taxation for private REITs, partnerships, S-Corps, K1s, and REIT compliance is required. Corporate accounting experience, including an understanding of payroll and benefits from an accounting standpoint, is also valuable. This role demands a strong team player with superb communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
