How will you contribute to the team?
  1. Plans and organizes the observation and documentation of construction projects.
  2. Schedules and coordinates observation of ongoing work and testing and sampling of materials.
  3. Assigns, leads, and supervises internal staff engaged in observation and testing and in related record keeping.
  4. Monitors contractor's progress against schedule and prepares progress reports.
  5. Reviews payment requests and determines amount owing to contractor(s) based on onsite observations and contract stipulations.
  6. Oversees compilation of final estimate documents.
  7. Performs such other duties as the supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
  8. Performs non-manual field work that involves a combination of conventional and complex features, requiring the application of sound and diversified professional knowledge in broad areas of assignments.
  9. Most assignments are performed independently, making decisions on technical problems and methods.
  10. Supervises and reviews the work of junior professionals, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.
  11. Interfaces with senior technical professionals, technical managers, and administrative staff and managers as necessary.
  12. Represents the firm in dealings with clients, contractors, and regulatory agency personnel.

What will you contribute?
  1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field plus seven years related experience, including personnel supervision.
  2. Leadership and managerial skills; analytical and organization skills; ability to supervise field representatives and field office personnel.
  3. Professional Registration desired.
  4. Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
  5. If position requires driving company vehicle, incumbent must have valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company policy.
