NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC | Senior Engineering Technician

NOVA Engineering is seeking a Senior Construction Materials Technician/ICC Inspector i(CTQP) n our Panama City Beach, FL office. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Primary duties performing structural building inspections and QA/QC tests (soils, masonry, reinforced concrete, structural steel, post-tensioning, fireproofing, etc.). Some travel may be required. The position will be predominately field located.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Inspections in accordance with code and project requirements
- Interpret project plans and specifications and ensure project requirements are being met.
- Activities will include performing field testing and inspections
- Review plans and specifications, performing the inspections accordingly
- Communicate results with contractors, engineers and others
- Input results and observations into daily reports
Requirements:
- 3- 5+ years construction materials testing and inspection experience required
- CTQP Certifications are required
- ACI Certification is required
- ICC Certifications (1 or more) are required:
- Reinforced Concrete
- Pre-Stressed Concrete
- Structural Masonry
- Post Tensioned Concrete
