We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury - Case Manager to join our growing team.
Job Summary:
The PI Case Manager will play a critical role in managing cases for clients who have sustained injuries due to accidents or negligence. This individual will coordinate between clients, attorneys, healthcare providers, and insurance companies to ensure that each case is processed smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to advocate for clients to secure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Client Communication & Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing their questions or concerns.
- Explain legal and medical terminology in an accessible way to ensure clients understand each phase of their case.
- Maintain empathy and professionalism, offering support to clients who may be in physical or emotional distress.
Case Documentation & Organization
- Gather and organize all relevant documentation, including medical records, police reports, and insurance information.
- Ensure all files are accurately maintained in a confidential and organized manner.
- Complete and submit necessary forms, reports, and correspondence in a timely manner.
Coordination with Providers and Insurance Companies
- Schedule client appointments with medical providers, arrange consultations, and coordinate rehabilitation services as needed.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters to facilitate the claims process and advocate for the client’s best interests.
- Liaise with attorneys, providing them with the necessary documents and updates on case progress.
Case Progress Monitoring
- Track case deadlines and ensure all steps are completed on schedule, keeping the attorney and client informed.
- Monitor treatment plans, recovery progress, and necessary follow-up actions to support client recovery.
Advocacy and Negotiation Support
- Act as a client advocate, helping them navigate the healthcare and legal systems.
- Assist in the preparation of cases for settlement negotiations, ensuring all documentation is ready for evaluation.
- Work collaboratively with legal teams to maximize case outcomes and client satisfaction.
