We are seeking an SAP Technical Lead to engage and lead discussions (aligned with best practices and quality assurance) on technical design, development, implementation, and maintenance of SAP/Cloud systems and solutions with the client (CoC). This role collaborates closely with business stakeholders, functional teams, IT Vendors and client IT to ensure SAP/Cloud solutions align with business requirements and support operational excellence.


Ensuring the design, development, implementation, and support of SAP/Cloud solution align with business goals and operational requirements. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and effective communication skills to deliver value through an innovative and reliable SAP/Cloud solution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership (SAP Centric):
  • Solution Design: Lead and oversight of the technical design and architecture of SAP/Cloud solution, ensuring alignment with business processes, technical standards, and best practices.
  • Development: Oversee SAP development activities, including customization, enhancement, and integration of SAP modules and components.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide best practice oversight to SAP developers and technical teams, ensuring adherence to coding standards, performance optimization, and Configuration and Customization quality assurance.
  • Testing and Validation: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance towards Configuration and Customization unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate SAP/Cloud solution and ensure reliability and performance.
  • System Enhancements: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance towards system patches and enhancements, ensuring system stability and compliance with SAP's support and maintenance policies.
  • Business Alignment: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements, prioritize initiatives, and align SAP/Cloud solution that meets business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with functional teams (e.g., Finance, HR, etc.) and IT teams to integrate SAP/Cloud solution with existing systems and business processes.
  • Change Control Management: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance to change requests and ensure changes to SAP/Cloud solution is properly documented, tested, and implemented.
  • Documentation: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance technical documentation, including design documents, system configurations, and support procedures.
  • Quality Standards: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance to ensure adherence to SAP/Cloud best practices, standards, and methodologies.
  • Compliance: Provide best practice oversight and quality assurance to ensure SAP/Cloud systems comply with regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and security standards applicable to the organization (CoC).


Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP/Cloud technical roles, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or lead technical role overseeing SAP/Cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in SAP ABAP programming, JAVA programming, SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP HANA, and SAP integration technologies (e.g., SAP Process Integration/Process Orchestration).
  • Experience with SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA and SAP Success Factors.
  • Experience with SAP RISE public and private cloud.
  • Knowledge of SAP development and integration methodologies, tools, and best practices for custom development and system integration (e.g., SAP solution manager, SAP Cloud ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), etc.)
  • Strong leadership, with the ability to lead technical collaborative workshops, work products and deliverables.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver SAP/Cloud solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to collaborate with business users, functional teams, and IT support teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications in SAP (e.g., SAP Certified Development, Basis, Cloud Professional).
