Qualifications:

The Breton Law Firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for its Brandon Office with at least 2 years' experience in the areas of Commercial and/or Real Property litigation.

Candidates must possess:

  • Excellent legal writing skills, including drafting pleadings and contracts.
  • Strong and persuasive oral advocacy skills for motion practice and client interactions.
  • Experience managing discovery and adhering to deadlines.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to build strong client and coworker relationships.
  • Commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Detail-oriented with innovative problem-solving skills.
  • Long-term goal-oriented, with a desire to excel in the legal profession and build a reputation as a preeminent attorney.
  • Client development is valued and rewarded but not mandatory.

Compensation:

Compensation is designed to attract top talent and reflects your experience, skills, and contributions to the firm, with a starting range of $80,000 to $135,000, plus performance bonuses. Our competitive salary structure is complemented by a reasonable billable hour target, enabling high-quality work without sacrificing work-life balance.


Requirements:

  • Current Florida Bar License in good standing
  • J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
  • 2+ years’ experience in at least one of our areas of practice
  • Long term outlook preferred
  • Litigation and drafting experience
  • No Florida Bar Disciplinary Matters
