About the role
The Associate Producer is responsible for managing client accounts, overseeing projects, and ensuring the smooth execution of creative campaigns. This role requires a proactive approach to client relationships, project management, and business development within the entertainment industry. The ideal candidate will excel in managing campaigns, providing creative feedback, and collaborating closely with the Creative Director. Strong organizational skills and the ability to stay on top of deadlines and release schedules are essential.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of daily operations on AV and print projects, including creative development, production, budgets, deadlines and deliverables, and internal billing to manage resources toward maximum profitability and to ensure deliverable meet the highest of standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in all facets of AV creative development and production, including creative execution, legal and music clearances, 3rd party resourcing, and all technical aspects of post-production.
- Oversee the development and implementation of creative briefs, budgets, client quotes and timelines to meet internal deadlines and creative goals, and make sure projects align with legal and first-party guidelines.
- Actively seek new business opportunities, leveraging existing industry contacts to expand client relationships and grow the business.
- Build and strengthen client relationships by overseeing day-to-day communication, meetings, quotes, and project updates.
- Build and maintain strong cross functional relationships and workflows with key stakeholders at the London-based home office.
- Work closely with a team of editors to ensure that we get the best possible creative output from each individual, while ensuring the creative executes on the client brief.
- Collaborate closely with the Creative Director to ensure creative direction aligns with client goals, and to develop and nurture new business initiatives.
- Stay ahead of upcoming release dates and marketing opportunities, ensuring that the team is prepared to meet key deadlines.
- Utilize Asana for project tracking and Box for asset management, ensuring all teams stay aligned and organized.
Key Requirements
- 2+ years AV experience in trailer and/or broadcast creative.
- Knowledge of film production, offline and online editorial is essential.
- Knowledge of print/design as well as print production processes is essential.
- Knowledge of AV and Print Production technical specs and industry terminology.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, including budgets, internal schedules and agency resource hours.
- Ability to perform business development.
- Strong organizational skills are essential.
- Ability to work efficiently and creatively in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
- Ability to work varied hours to meet client needs.
