This role is responsible for operating, setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment used in card personalization, printing, encoding, and affixing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and experience working in a production or manufacturing environment while meeting quality and efficiency standards. Schedule & Benefits: Full-time position; must be flexible to work overtime as needed Pay: $16/hr. - $20/hr., depending on experience Responsibilities of the Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Operator: Operate personalization, printing, and affixing equipment to produce and package card products according to customer specifications Set up, calibrate, and verify machine settings including mag stripe encoding, inkjet printing, labeling, embossing, and affixing Perform routine equipment inspections, cleaning, and validations to ensure optimal performance Troubleshoot and resolve production issues such as jams, misfeeds, print quality defects, and data mismatches Monitor production output to ensure accuracy, quality, and consistency throughout runs Collaborate with Quality Control and IT teams to resolve system or data-related issues Follow standard operating procedures to ensure quality control, accountability, and compliance Accurately document production data and maintain required records Identify and suggest process improvements to increase throughput, quality, and reliability Requirements for the Electro-Mechanical Manufacturing Operator: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in card production, personalization, mailing, or print manufacturing preferred Experience working with personalization or affixing equipment such as inkjet, bindery, mail sorters, Datacard, Pack-Smart, Mühlbauer, Kirk Rudy, or similar systems Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Solid computer skills and familiarity with production software and data files (CSV, XML, flat files, etc.) Strong attention to detail in a high-volume production environment Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Must pass background checks due to sensitive data handling Preferred Qualifications: Experience with RFID or magnetic stripe encoding Familiarity with ISO card production or fulfillment environments Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement mindset Physical Demands & Work Environment: Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
