The Educational Services Commission of New Jersey AQUATICS AND FITNESS CENTER MEMBERSHIP SUPERVISOR (12) Month Position QUALIFICATIONS: CPR/AED current certification required. Minimum of four (4) years related fitness industry experience, specifically in marketing and social media marketing preferred. Strong communication skills and effective time management skills required. Daxko software proficiency is strongly preferred. Ability to prepare all reports regarding programs and operations of the site. RESPONSIBILITIES: Tracks all sales and activity, tours, prospects, cancellations, balances, holds, and retention. Oversees all front desk operations and personnel. Ensures outstanding customer/member service with the utilization of Daxko Engage BENEFITS: Full-Time staff are eligible for Medical, Prescription, and Dental Benefits. Vacation, Sick, Personal and Bereavement Days are included MINIMUM SALARY: $60,000 AQUATICS SUPERVISOR (12) Month Position QUALIFICATIONS: Degree, or equivalent experience in aquatics management preferred. Minimum two (2) years related experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Experience in aquatics programming or aquatics facility management preferred. Current Lifeguarding, CPO and CPR/First Aid/AED certification. Strong leadership skills; Self-directed and creative individual. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise Lifeguard Staff: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate lifeguard staff to ensure the highest level of safety and customer service. Schedule lifeguard rotations and shifts to ensure proper coverage during all operational hours. Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and professional development for lifeguard staff. Aquatic Programming: Develop, plan, and implement a variety of aquatic programs to cater to different age groups and skill levels. Collaborate with other departments to create innovative aquatic programs that align with the facility's overall goals. Monitor and assess program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to meet participant needs. Facility Coordination and Rentals: Manage the scheduling and coordination of aquatic facility rentals, ensuring seamless execution of rentals, and events. Collaborate with swim team leaders, and event organizers to address their specific needs and requirements. Oversee the setup and teardown of equipment and facilities for rentals and events.
