Job Title: Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Overview:

As the Chief Marketing Officer at Perry Ellis, you will be responsible for leading our marketing strategies and initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer experience, and revenue growth. You will play a crucial role in shaping and executing marketing plans that align with the company's objectives. This position reports directly to the CEO & President, Oscar Feldenkreis.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies for all Perry Ellis International brands to enhance the company's market position and achieve business goals.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration and innovation based in NY., Miami, and Portland.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, traditional, and social media.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats, adjusting marketing strategies accordingly.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and overall business objectives.
  • Drive brand consistency and cohesiveness across all marketing initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Manage marketing budgets and resources efficiently.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, is preferred
  • Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally as a CMO or Senior Vice President of Marketing with 5-10 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic marketing plans that resulted in business growth.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities.
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing technologies and trends.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the changing demographics in the USA and Internationally.
