Join us in leading the change

In this role, you will manage a team of power system engineers who perform Owner’s Engineering for clients. Responsibilities include client account management, supporting business development, project management, resource forecasting and utilization, and development of direct reports.


How You Can Make An Impact

  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers and technical specialists, ensuring the effective execution of owner’s engineering and system studies tasks while meeting project deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality and budget adherence.
  • Assume full responsibility for the timely and successful completion of projects, ensuring that all quality and budgetary objectives are consistently met.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the client and the engineering team, ensuring clear, consistent communication and alignment on project goals and objectives. Actively engage with clients to solicit feedback, address concerns, and adapt project scopes as needed to meet their evolving needs.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, closely monitoring progress to ensure all project milestones are achieved within the agreed timelines and financial constraints.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies to proactively address potential project challenges, minimizing impacts on project delivery.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of engineering staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, technical excellence, and collaborative learning.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance organizational efficiency by identifying and implementing process improvements aimed at maximizing team capacity while maintaining the quality and timeliness of client deliverables.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by assisting in the preparation of RFP responses and crafting detailed scope of work statements. Clearly define EPE deliverables and project timelines, positioning the organization for successful client engagements.


Qualifications

Bring your passion, here's what’s needed:

  • Proficient with at least one of the power system analysis software: PSSE, PSCAD, TSAT, ETAP, SKM, PSLF, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering with power system emphasis. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum ten years of experience in the power system industry with at least three years of working in a supervisory role.
  • Proven knowledge of power systems
  • Proven team player skills with the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal, particularly with respect to explaining technical matters.
  • Have high standards for producing quality reports and products that he/she shall own with pride.
  • A Professional Engineer license is preferred.

Location : This position is Fully Remote in the US or Canada

Travel : Occasional travel may be needed (10 % or less )
