Position: Senior Shipbroker – The Woodlands Office
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a personal network to identify and pursue business opportunities.
- Analyze current and future market trends to inform business decisions.
- Provide clients and prospects with relevant market insights and ship positions.
- Facilitate the negotiation and establishment of transportation and chartering agreements.
- Maintain constant communication with colleagues to support problem-solving and opportunity identification.
- Mentor junior shipbrokers to enhance team performance.
- Manage travel and associated costs effectively.
- Implement risk management strategies.
Requirements:
- Pre-university level education (VO) with at least five years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with organizational and departmental processes, as well as applicable procedures, standards, and guidelines.
- Proficiency with PC software and programs.
- Excellent command of English, both verbal and written; additional languages are an advantage.
Competencies:
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and integrity.
- Excellent memory and ability to work under pressure.
- Flexible with a willingness to travel and attend evening events.
- Adaptable to a non-nine-to-five work mentality.

Position: Senior Operator – The Woodlands Office
Responsibilities:
- Monitor vessel movements and keep clients and colleagues informed of progress.
- Handle all post-fixture-related tasks, including responding to calls and resolving issues.
- Develop and implement an optimal operational strategy to ensure efficient process management.
- Build and maintain customer-oriented services, proactively addressing operational bottlenecks.
- Follow up on demurrage claims and gather relevant market information.
Requirements:
- Degree in logistics and/or maritime studies.
- Experience in the wholesale/shipping industry, specifically with bulk shipments of liquids and dry goods.
- In-depth knowledge of logistics processes.
- Fluency in business English; additional languages are a plus.
- Proficient in PC software and programs.
