General Surgery Opportunity - Johnson City, TN

Surgical Group of Johnson City is seeking a general or minimally invasive surgeon to join their established practice located in Johnson City, Tennessee. This opportunity is a ready-made practice to replace a retiring surgeon with the potential for > 800 cases per year. Serving patients throughout Northeast Tennessee, Surgical Group of Johnson City offers the following services:
  • Robotic surgery with access to 4 Da Vinci XI robots
  • Minimally invasive and open foregut and colon surgery including hiatal hernia and some bariatric surgery
  • Upper and lower endoscopy
  • Robotic, lap and open hernia surgery
  • Bread and butter general surgery
  • 5 days unattached ER call/month
  • Call cross coverage with another general surgery group
  • No trauma

Facility Details:
Franklin Woods Community Hospital is an 80-bed not-for-profit hospital located in Johnson City, Tennessee. The state-of-the-art facility offers a wide range of general, medical and surgical services, including minimally invasive surgical procedures using advanced robotic surgical systems. Franklin Woods also provides a family birth center and was the first hospital in the state to earn Perinatal Care Certification from The Joint Commission. The hospital was named one of the nation s 100 Top Hospitals by Truven Health Analytics for two years in a row.
