What You Can Expect

  • Location – Charlotte, USA
  • Salary - $85,000
  • Work Type – 20 months fixed term contract


Main Responsibilities as a Production Lead

  • Lead and manage Production Managers, overseeing clusters or specific production types.
  • Define and allocate production responsibilities within the team.
  • Drive the strategy for production and procurement of printed materials and fabricated products, collaborating with senior team on priorities and execution.
  • Research and appoint supply chain partners for different product categories.
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to production schedules, maintaining clear communication with the client.
  • Work closely with the Operations team to align production processes with logistics, warehousing, packing, and installation.
  • Partner with the venue team to determine appropriate materials and methodologies for production.
  • Specify materials and processes for installing dressing, wayfinding, and signage elements.
  • Support sustainability goals by aligning product specifications with environmental objectives.
  • Work with engineers and manufacturers on fabricating structures, including prototypes.
  • Manage client expectations with clear communication, preparing presentations and reports


Core Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, including processes and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of site operations and brand execution strategies (how to get things done effectively).
  • Experience in overseeing production programs within event settings is highly valued.
  • Comprehensive understanding of material types and their best applications (what works where).
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive successful outcomes.
  • Hands-on experience in project management or equivalent roles.
  • Expertise in managing suppliers and overseeing production processes is highly regarded.
  • Skilled in operational planning, organization, and problem-solving, with a sharp eye for detail, especially in large-scale, multi-sport international events.
  • Outstanding communication and team leadership abilities.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Innovative problem-solver who can deliver creative solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Logical thinker with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive, hands-on approach with the resilience to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and Smartsheet.
  • Experience working with databases; proficiency in Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Willingness to relocate to the U.S. full-time for the project's duration.
