Job Description:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain QA strategies, policies, and procedures that ensure the quality and reliability of software products.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Oversee all aspects of the QA process, including test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect management.
  • Continuously improve QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging automation and other advanced testing techniques.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for vendors regarding quality assurance matters.
  • Ensure that vendors adhere to established quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Coordinate with vendors to conduct joint testing activities, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Evaluate vendor performance regularly and provide feedback to improve product quality.
  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure they are fully tested.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to provide a QA perspective.
  • Communicate quality metrics, testing progress, and product readiness to senior management.
  • Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Lead the implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues that may arise during testing.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of test cases, test results, and QA processes.
  • Prepare detailed reports on product quality, testing outcomes, and any areas for improvement.
  • Experience with Waterfall Methodology is preferred. and
  • Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
