Overview: We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team, focused on mobile applications. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and performance of our cutting-edge applications by developing and maintaining automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Java and Python, along with experience in Android Studio. Familiarity with Linux is preferred but not mandatory.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests for new application features in mobile environments.
  • Oversee the daily operations of a multi-device laboratory to support automated testing efforts.
  • Collaborate with manual testers to identify existing tests for conversion to automation.
  • Develop and refine tools and processes to integrate automated tests into the manual testing release cycle.
  • Provide educational resources and technical support to manual testers to facilitate the integration of automation.
  • Contribute to the improvement of the automated testing code base, including the development of a new test infrastructure framework.
  • Refactor and optimize older tests to align with new frameworks and methodologies.
  • Mentor and manage team members to enhance collaborative efforts and achieve project goals.


Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages.
  • Experience with Android Studio for mobile application development.
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and methodologies.
  • Understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in a research and development setting is a plus.
  • Linux experience is preferred but not required.
