Variety is our specialty. Over 100 clinics in Northern Michigan with different specialties:

• Primary Care
• Internal Medicine
• Urgent Care
• Heart & Vascular
• Oncology Services
• Surgical Services
• Orthopedics
• Urology
• Women's Health
• Pediatrics
• Behavioral Medicine
• Quality and Medical Specialties: Sleep Medicine, Wound Care, Pulmonary, Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Occupational Medicine, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Nephrology & Rheumatology.

You'll complete clinical and administrative tasks within the clinic. Work alongside the provider to ensure patients are taken care of and the clinic runs smoothly.

Our best schedules in healthcare: Most clinics operate during normal business hours Monday through Friday and are closed on Holidays. As a Float, you may cover weekends with day shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

**What's Required:**

• Credentialed Medical Assistant
• High School graduate or GED equivalent
• Credentialed as a Medical Assistant from an approved Munson Healthcare Credentialing Organization
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by the American Association of Medical Assistants
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) by the American Medical Technologists
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) by the National Healthcareer Association
• National Certified Medical Assistant (NCTT) by the National Center for Competency Testing
• Certified Medical Assistant Certification (CMAC) by the American Medical Certification Association
• Other MHC approved credentialing organization

• 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant required
• BLS certification preferred and must be obtained within 90 days of hire and maintained
• Experience with EHR is preferred
• Knowledgeable and proficient in basic clinical competencies
• Communicate effectively and work well with others

• Meet physical demands of the position
• Lift 30 pounds
