Dialysis Staff Nurse


Avera McKennan Hospital & University Health Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional care to patients on maintenance dialysis.


About the Role


  • Provide high-quality care and treatment to patients on dialysis, working collaboratively with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assume responsibility for each shift as a dialysis charge nurse, ensuring seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in nephrology and dialysis care.

Requirements


  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program (strongly preferred) or an approved nursing program.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure.
  • Nephrology Certification or Certified Dialysis Nurse (preferred).

Work Schedule


  • Works 4-10 hour shifts per week, every other Saturday, with 72 hours per 2 weeks.

Compensation


  • $46.50 per hour, with actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
