SGS Consulting is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: CVICU
- Discipline: RN
- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. • Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate. • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders. • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team. Acuity adaptable CVICU Number of beds on the unit: 40 Nurse to Patient ratio: variable 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, 1:4 Scrub color: Royal Blue Float to: all units within clinical scope and of the Ascension hospital if need arises. EMR is used: Sunrise Required Skills/Experience: ACLS/BLS, 1 yr exp, Cardiac ICU, cardiac devices (IABP, Impella, CRRT, etc) Preferred Skills/Experience: ECMO, Progressive Cardiac Care background Weekends: 2 weekends every 6 weeks
