Job Description: CPTW - Supply Chain Associate

How will you make an impact?

Provides direct support to the business unit and clients by assisting with the monitoring of short and medium-term Scheduling and Planning readiness processes based on the Demand plan.


What will you do?

  • Own key scheduling reporting functions that drive site readiness to issue manufacturing schedule
  • Facilitate daily Value Stream Meetings intended to be the site pulse of supply health
  • Action key scheduling deliverables such as running Taylor's daily interface and scheduling new orders
  • Drive intensity and completion of document releases to ensure adherence to the readiness gate targets

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • “In progress” Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Production or a related field is required


Experience (Preferred)

  • Relevant experience in Supply Chain Management Equivalency
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered.

  • Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter, mature, independent and dependable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment under pressure, able to multi-task and is results-oriented.

  • Ability to work independently and take actions to resolve issues.
  • Requires discretion and independent judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Multiple computer skills including working experience with MS Office applications such as Word and Excel necessary.


Physical Requirements:

Position requires ordinary ambulatory skills and physical coordination sufficient to move about office locations; ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch periodically for prolonged periods of time; manipulation (lift, carry, move) of light to medium weights of 10-35 pounds; arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp and type for prolonged periods of time; visual acuity to use a keyboard, computer monitor, operate equipment, and read materials for prolonged periods of time; ability to sit, reach with hands and arms, talk, and hear for prolonged periods of time.
