Responsibilities of Financial Accounting Analyst:
- Working with the CFO to develop and maintain timely and relevant financial reporting to all stakeholders
- Coordinate portions of the monthly/quarterly close process, provide operational variance analysis, through to financial statement preparation and reporting
- Work with external auditors; coordinating the annual audit
- Research technical accounting issues to ensure GAAP compliant reporting
- Work with all stakeholders to develop, maintain, and improve accounting internal controls, policies and procedures
- Assist with tax compliance and work with tax advisors on annual returns
- Maintain Cash Flow Forecast - monitor and improve the collections cycle of each business unit.
- Identify risk areas and follow-up with relevant stakeholders
- Provide operational support and guidance to digital billing team ensuring reporting is in adherence to GAAP
- Assist in design and maintenance of digital reporting dashboard
Preferred Experience of Financial Accounting Analyst:
- Audit experience - minimum 2 years
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving; ability to research problems and drive resolutions
- Strong business acumen with ability to proactively recognize potential issues
- Self-starter with ability to work independently and desire to collaborate as appropriate
