Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Management:
  • Lead and manage a team of 7 field refrigeration technicians, providing daily support, guidance, and mentorship.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide training to improve technical skills and service quality.
  • Assign and schedule jobs for technicians, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and timely completion of tasks.
  • Field Support & Technical Expertise:
  • Offer hands-on troubleshooting and technical guidance to technicians in the field, ensuring proper diagnosis and repair of commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Stay up to date with industry standards, new technologies, and best practices to provide expert advice and solutions to field issues.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards, local codes, and company policies.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns or service issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to schedule service visits, communicate timelines, and manage expectations effectively.
  • Performance & Reporting:
  • Monitor the performance of technicians, track key metrics, and report on productivity, service completion rates, and other relevant KPIs.
  • Work closely with the management team to address performance issues, optimize processes, and ensure adherence to company goals.
  • Inventory & Equipment Management:
  • Ensure technicians have access to the necessary tools and parts to perform their jobs efficiently.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain stock of critical refrigeration components.


Requirements:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in commercial refrigeration servicing and repair.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or management role, overseeing a team of technicians.
  • Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems, including diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration units.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and customer needs.
