Role Description

Active Soul is seeking a dynamic and certified Fitness Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our boutique fitness studio, the Fitness Instructor will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional fitness experiences to our clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about health and wellness, possesses strong motivational skills, and is committed to creating an engaging and inclusive fitness environment.


Responsibilities

  • Class Instruction: Lead group fitness classes with enthusiasm, ensuring a safe and effective workout experience for participants.
  • Program Development: Design and create well-structured fitness programs that align with the studio's goals and cater to the needs of diverse clientele.
  • Motivation and Support: Inspire and motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals by providing encouragement, support, and feedback.
  • Client Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive community within the studio, building strong relationships with clients and encouraging their commitment to health and fitness.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, attend relevant workshops, and continuously enhance personal fitness knowledge to bring innovation to class offerings.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe exercise environment by adhering to health and safety standards, guiding participants on proper form, and responding promptly to any safety concerns.


Qualifications

  • Accredited Certification in relevant field: NASM, YTT200, ACE, Mat Pilates Cert., etc.
  • Preferably has previous experience teaching classes
  • Additional certifications in specialty classes are a plus
  • Excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
