Interim CFO

Charles River CFO (CRCFO) is seeking an Interim CFO to work for us and consult with our Credit Union client in Greater Boston Massachusetts. In this capacity, the position will be ONSITE, full-time. The chosen candidate must have experience running all finance and accounting operations in a Credit Union or Community Bank. We need someone adept with federal & state regulations, and FISERV / COCC system experience. No other background will be considered.

As an embedded part of our client's organization, the CFO performs as a critical member of its leadership team and is expected to participate in the decision-making processes necessary for the successful attainment of the organization's goals. The Chief Financial Officer has primary oversight of financial reporting, grant management, and budget preparation, as well as the continued development of internal control policies and procedures.

What you’ll do:

• Provide financial and finance modeling support to the CEO related to operations and strategic planning
• Lead the rate-setting process, including being the primary conduit between the contributors and the financial data staff
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of the monthly financial statements
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of the required financial reports to the oversight entities
• Work with the finance staff to develop models associated with alternative payment and risk adjustments
• Work with collaborators on new programs and changes of programs that are covered
• Supervise the leadership of the Finance division

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; MBA preferred
• CPA Certification is preferred
• 10+ years experience as a healthcare finance executive in a key leadership capacity
• Strong track record of leading financial operations within a complex healthcare organization
