Son of a Saint mentors’ most important role is simply to be a good example. Position Summary:

The Chief Growth Officer will be responsible for identifying growth opportunities within the organization, developing strategic plans, and overseeing the achievement of our short- and long-term growth and advancement goals. The role will also involve supporting and coordinating collaborations across all departments for various marketing, administrative, and organizational growth-centric activities, formalizing the Son of a Saint Blueprint for growth opportunities, as well as technological and training opportunities. This position is considered a high-level member of our Executive C-Suite, and will be responsible for organizational decision-making.

We are seeking an ideal candidate who is forward-thinking, results-driven, and possesses a natural ability to lead and inspire team members towards common objectives.

The short-term advancement goal for this position is to foster the expansion of the Son of a Saint in the New Orleans community; through the combination of growing the number of active mentees and alumni, and our Son of a Saint Scholars program.

The long-term advancement goal for this position may include, but is not limited to; establishing greenfield locations across the city, establishing the Son of a Saint Institute and supporting the potential expansion beyond the New Orleans Region.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the development and implementation of strategic growth plans by formalizing the Son of a Saint Blueprint for growth opportunities, tech and training opportunities.
  • Create, implement, and execute growth organizational initiatives and supporting strategies related to expansion-based projects.
  • Provide cost analysis, and internal reporting analytics related to expansion-based projects.
  • Prepare the organization for financial, personnel, and operational growth.
  • Identify, collect, share and drive appropriate market research to support organizational expansion initiatives related to expansion-based projects.
  • Lead, coordinate, and provide strategic support to cross-functional teams in executing growth plans.
  • Develop departmental budgets to support the company’s growth initiatives and oversee the expenditure of funds related to expansion-based projects.
  • Evaluate crucial analytical data related to the growth of the business and marketing campaign performance related to expansion-based projects.
  • Prepare presentations and improvement suggestions for meetings with department heads related to expansion-based projects.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives focused on increasing donor participation and satisfaction with the growth initiatives.
  • Support the development and release of new revenue streams.
Education/Experience:
  • MBA or applicable Master’s degree.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a Nonprofit leadership capacity.
  • Proven history of identifying growth-enabling initiatives and opportunities in the Nonprofit industry.
  • Previous experience with Google Suite, Salesforce, Quickbooks and other applicable software.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
