Technology Lead – Market Data


Our client is looking for a Technology Lead to join them in designing, developing and optimising Market Data systems. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with a talented team to solve complex technical challenges and push the boundaries of performance in market data processing.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of high-performance market data systems using advanced C++ and Python.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Quantitative Researchers and Traders, to ensure the market data infrastructure meets the needs of various trading strategies.
  • Tackle complex technical problems related to real-time systems, multi-threading, and network programming in a highly collaborative environment.
  • Research and development of strategic data storage and processing for large data sets
  • Continually refine our frameworks to manage growing data volumes efficiently and accurately.


Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in designing and enhancing data platforms, utilizing insights from previous challenges to develop more effective solutions.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as C++ and Python, with a strong passion for producing clean, efficient, and accurate code.
  • Dedication to maintaining exceptional operational standards and making well-informed decisions grounded in technical principles, including networking, database performance, and system efficiency.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
