Aligned Solutions has partnered with a rapidly growing healthcare company seeking a Chief Financial Officer based in Boston, MA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all aspects of the financial performance and operations of Company and its subsidiaries.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, including FP&A, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), Credentialing/Payor Relations, and Payroll, while being hands-on as needed.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Bring expertise in quality of earnings reports, audits, and diligence for acquisitions.
  • Develop and communicate financial strategies to guide the company through multiple growth paths.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial closings, reporting, and key performance metrics for all locations and entities.
  • Provide insightful analysis on trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement using KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the CEO, COO, and clinical leaders to improve financial performance at clinics, identifying and implementing key drivers of continual improvement.
  • Refine and manage reporting tools and scorecards for internal teams and investors.
  • Oversee cash management, forecasting, and banking relationships.
  • Act as the primary contact for auditors, business insurance partners, and other key vendors.
  • Refine internal controls and systems to ensure responsible financial management and operational efficiency.
  • Foster collaboration and trust among team members, creating a shared vision and purpose.
  • Identify challenges, prioritize solutions, and implement improvements effectively.
  • Commit to continuous personal and professional growth.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Proven ability to build and lead a highly efficient financial team from the ground up.
  • A trusted thought partner to the CEO and COO, providing daily strategic insights.
  • Experience engaging with Private Equity investors and/or lenders.
  • A forward-thinking, independent leader who implements best practices to deliver high performance.
  • Experience in multi-site healthcare services, including industries such as dental, dermatology, urgent care, or physical therapy, is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing costs and performance in multi-location businesses while preserving an entrepreneurial culture.
  • Ability to stay informed of industry trends and position Company as a leader in financial processes.
  • Skilled in strategic planning and growth execution for affiliates.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial presentations.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (advanced degree or CPA preferred).
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in multi-site healthcare operations.
  • Successful leadership experience during transactions, investments, or sales.
  • Experience in healthcare is required; experience in dental is a plus.
