Creative Director

Informatica is at a key inflection point and massive transformation, repositioning us from a legacy brand to an innovative, flexible, powerful AI cloud data management platform. We are a category leader with a massive opportunity to grow our brand and improve our creative.

We are looking for a visionary Creative Director with proven experience in delivering breakthrough creative to guide us into the future. You are a creative powerhouse with an innate ability to turn complex concepts into compelling visual narratives. You bring a rich background of creative leadership and industry-shaping B2B work to reach business and technical audiences. You have the ability to bring to life a creative brand expression that is cohesive and compelling across all programs/campaigns across channels and regions. You are a player/coach who can inspire a team of designers while getting your hands dirty and developing creative.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and direct brand voice and visual brand strategies that enhance Informatica’s presence in market.
  • Lead and inspire a team of visual designers (print, video, digital) to develop materials from concept to completion in an array of media, including digital and social advertising, video marketing, events, executive presentations and web.
  • Provide inspirational creative leadership, partnering with various cross-functional teams to develop an effective intake process, connecting insights with ideas that resonate with the hearts and minds of our audiences.
  • Foster an environment where bold thinking, honest feedback, and collaborative co-creation are the norms.
  • Refresh the creative approach of digital demand programs to improve speed-to-lead, accelerate customer engagement and asset consumption.
  • Operationalize and scale incoming creative requests into a multi-media creative hub with internal and external designers, vendors and agencies to support production workflow for global and regional needs.
  • Ensure that assets are leveraged and “campaign-able” across regions and multiple mediums.
  • Partner closely with agency partners to drive leading-edge, impactful and valuable ideas that deliver results across brand and demand performance metrics.
  • Steward an asset management system for all production files and photography.
  • Maintain/update style and asset guides, review materials for brand compliance.
  • Ensure global consistency & governance for creative assets; train internal and external teams on brand guidelines.

Who You Are

  • 15+ years of experience at a digital agency or in-house equivalent, at least 7 of which at a leadership level; design background with B2B and technology brands.
  • Deep understanding of brand building, brand consistency and digital demand marketing objectives.
  • Expert-level talent in Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and other industry software skills. Understanding of Final Cut Pro X, Adobe Premiere, and other programs.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills to effectively express your ideas and your work at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic with a deep understanding of the implications of great creative & storytelling on the overall success of a brand.
  • Committed to the success of the team, desiring to mentor and shape the careers of creative teams.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • A balance of creative thinking and strong leadership skills, coupled with a significant record of creating compelling and effective marketing and brand experiences.
  • Deep understanding of driving end-to-end activation from creative development, media, production, and overall project execution of off/online campaigns.
  • Creative, collaborative and resourceful approach to solving problems and identifying opportunities.
  • Open-minded with a flexible operating style and natural consultative approach to gain the trust and respect of individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a new role where there is ambiguity combined with a critical need to prioritize. Experienced communicating with C-Suite and executive (oral and written).
