About the opportunity
Are you passionate about designing and building best-in-class talent management programs with company-wide impact? Come join our growing Global Talent Management team
We're looking for a Director of Performance Management who will drive our performance management strategy to continuously evolve how we evaluate, develop, and invest in our talent. In this role, you'll lead the design, development, and delivery of performance management strategies that are aligned with our organizational objectives and future of work vision. This is a highly collaborative role where you'll work cross-functionally with COEs, Employee Success partners, business partners, and Technology teams to build industry leading performance processes that leverage the latest advancements in AI and technology. You will oversee performance programs from strategy to execution, ensuring we identify, measure, and differentiate performance in meaningful ways that enhance employee growth, engagement, and impact.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership & Program Development: Build and lead the end-to-end performance management strategy, including our goal setting approach, Quarterly Check-Ins, and Performance Evaluations. Align performance processes with broader talent management objectives to meet current and future business needs. Drive AI integration and technological innovation in performance processes.
Technology and AI Integration: Partner with Technology teams to implement innovative, AI-powered solutions that improve performance management processes, deliver actionable insights, and enhance the employee experience.
Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing team of performance management professionals. Foster a collaborative environment where team members are empowered to innovate, grow, and deliver results that support company and talent management objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key stakeholders across People Analytics, Equality, Rewards, Learning and Development, Legal, Employee Relations, Talent Leads, Business Partners, Tech/Product, Operations, Communications, Change Management, and leadership teams to ensure performance programs are relevant, scalable, and aligned with business priorities. Act as a thought leader and advisor to leadership on performance strategy and its impact on company culture.
Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data analytics and story-telling to provide insights and measure success. Make data-driven recommendations that inform key decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Change Adoption: Develop and implement change management and communication plans to ensure successful program adoption. In collaboration with change and communication partners, lead communications, training, and enablement efforts to support understanding and readiness across the organization.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously review and iterate on our performance management processes, integrating feedback and aligning with industry best practices to keep pace with the dynamic talent, tech, and future of work landscape.
Who You Are:
A Strategic Thinker and Subject-Matter Expert: You have deep expertise in performance management and talent development. You're skilled at designing strategies that align with business objectives, and you leverage your subject-matter expertise to ensure initiatives are impactful and successfully integrated into the business.
A Seasoned Talent Program Owner: You have experience leading complex, large-scale talent management programs. You're both a strategic thinker and detail-oriented operator, skilled at ensuring the seamless execution and integration of programs within the broader organization.
A Data-Driven Leader: You possess strong data analytics skills and are fluent in translating data into actionable insights. Your recommendations are well-founded, balancing quantitative insights with business priorities and stakeholder needs.
A People-Centric Team Leader: You excel at leading high-performing, cross-functional teams, fostering an environment where collaboration and innovation thrive. You are committed to developing talent, empowering your team to deliver results that align with our goals and elevate the employee experience.
A Master Dot Connector: You excel at identifying synergies across projects, eliminating redundancies, and ensuring maximum impact. You have a knack for engaging the right experts and stakeholders to build solutions that are comprehensive and collaborative.
An Agile Change Enthusiast: You thrive in fast-paced environments, embracing continuous learning and a culture of iteration. You quickly adapt to evolving business needs, translating them into impactful talent strategies that drive growth and engagement.
A Product-Minded Innovator: You think like a product owner, partnering with tech and product teams to deliver AI-driven solutions that enhance employee experiences. You're excited to experiment with the latest advancements in technology and integrate customer-centric thinking into every talent management initiative.
Qualifications:
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Leadership/Organization Development (OD), Human Resources or Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
8+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on performance management or talent management, preferably within fast-paced, innovative organizations.
Experience leading high-performing teams, fostering continuous learning, growth, and development.
Proven experience with performance management program design, implementation, and scaling within large, complex organizations.
Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making, including experience with HR analytics and success metrics.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of building cross-functional relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
