Product Owner with WMS Experience

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner with a specialization of 8 to 12 years of experience particularly with JDA WMS. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of knowledge in warehouse management concepts to drive our customers' business forward.

Cognizant’s supply chain delivery practice is part of Cognizant’s Enterprise Platform Services (EPS). We are primarily responsible for implementing, supporting and extending off-the-shelf supply chain products in execution planning and procurement. Role: Business Analyst

Location: Mooresville, IN

Experience: 8 -12 Years

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $95,000 to $125,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate existing warehouse management systems to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop detailed project plans for the implementation of enhancements to the JDA WMS system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the JDA WMS with other business systems.
- Provide expert advice and solutions to complex warehousing and distribution challenges.
- Conduct training sessions for users on the functionalities and updates of the JDA WMS.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in warehouse management to recommend innovative solutions.
- Prepare and present reports on project progress and outcomes to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all warehouse management practices.
- Work closely with IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues arising in the JDA WMS.
- Optimize warehouse layouts and processes for maximum efficiency using JDA WMS insights.
-Qualifications
- Must have a deep understanding of JDA WMS and its application in warehousing and distribution.
- Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects in warehouse management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams.
- Knowledge of warehousing and distribution domain is highly desirable.
- Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills quickly is required.
- Experience in training users on new systems and processes is beneficial.
- A commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines is crucial.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards in warehousing and distribution is an advantage.
